I get behind on it when I get stressed from working a lot and then it’s too stressful to deal with and then it gets worse and the cycle ...Read Moregoes on for months until it’s out of control and somehow I find the energy to clean up some, but it’s never enough. I need to sort, throw away, reorganize, and declutter. I’ve struggled with this my whole life. I take good care of my things and they last forever and I have a hard time throwing them away and it’s a huge cycle that causes more stress. I still have shoes from middle school and I’m 37. They fit and they are in good shape, but I have so many new ones there’s no space. My whole home is like this and my mom is the same way. Lord, we need to be set free from this cycle. Part of it is related to trauma and part of it is just bad habits. I pray we can be set free from these thoughts, habits, and clutter.
