Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up to you OHprayerrequest's dear daughter who is recovering from surgery. Please heal her and restore her health through your almighty powerful healing hand. When we have faith in you, all is possible. I pray that the daughter will also receive effective treatment from her physicians and healthcare team. Please also help her with her ADHD issues. May the daughter pray to you daily, Father God and Lord Jesus. Let her draw close to you and develop a trusting, personal relationship with you as one would with a trusted, dear friend. Let her talk to you daily. She might want to listen to the hymn, "Just a little talk with Jesus," on Youtube. You surely welcome our fellowship. May the daughter also meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." I pray that the daughter will find a job soon. May she pray to ask for your divine guidance and direction (Psalm 32:8). For hope about healing, the daughter can focus on your awesome, supernatural healing ministry, Lord Jesus. She can start with John 5:3-15; Matthew 15:29-31; and Matthew 8:5-15. May all go well. NOVEMBER 4 Encouraging Word # 309 "You will make known to me the path of life, in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forever." Psalm 16:11 Dear Friends How do you handle stress in your life? The other day, I got up and began processing in my mind all the things that I needed to do. It was not a good way to start the day! I realized I was already behind even though it was 6:30 in the morning! Fortunately, the most important thing for me that day came to mind which was to enjoy my walk with God. So I told the Lord, "Lord, all I want today is to simply enjoy my relationship with You." I didn't know what the day had in store, but I wanted to make it my purpose to walk with God and enjoy Him. David understood this. In Psalm 16:11 it states "You will make known to me the path of life, in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forever." David had come to realize that real joy in life was simply walking with the Lord every day. That's what it's like to experience a bit of heaven on earth. We really have no assurance of what tomorrow or the future will be like but do have the ability to determine what today is like. I get tired of letting the pressures of life and stress dictate what my day is going to be like. Fortunately, we have a God who offers a joy that supersedes our circumstances and leads me down a path that gives us real pleasure.
