Heavenly Father, I lift Jacob up to You as he struggles with drug addiction, mental health challenges, and the painful effects of past trauma. At only 22 years old, he has already endured so much, and I pray for You to place Your healing hand upon his mind, body, and spirit. Please free him from the hold of addiction, ease his depression, and bring healing to the emotional wounds he carries. Help him find the strength, courage, and hope to begin building a healthier and happier life. Father, I ask You to surround him with Your love and comforting presence. Please lead him to caring, trustworthy people who will encourage him, support his recovery, and help him make wise choices. Guide him toward the right treatment and counseling, and give his doctors and caregivers wisdom to address both his addiction and the trauma he has experienced. Protect him from harmful influences, dangerous situations, and anything that could threaten his life or recovery. Lord, I especially pray that Jacob will come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Open his heart to Your love, mercy, and forgiveness, and help him understand that his past does not have to determine his future. Give him a renewed sense of purpose and the assurance that his life is precious and meaningful to You. Father, please also strengthen Holly as she carries the heavy burden of worrying about her son. Give her wisdom to know how best to help him, peace when she feels helpless, and strength when she becomes overwhelmed. Remind her that she does not have to carry this burden alone. Please restore hope to both her and Jacob, strengthen their relationship, and guide Jacob toward lasting healing, recovery, and a life filled with faith, peace, and joy. Thank You Father, for who You are—loving, kind, faithful, merciful and gracious. To You be all praise, glory, and honor. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace, please heal Hollyd1's dear son, Jacob, so that he can overcome drug addiction and depression. Please lead him to a rehab facility like the Salvation Army that also offers worship services and spiritual programs so he can get to know you and draw close to you, Father God and Lord Jesus. May Hollyd1 and Jacob pray together each day with all of their heart. They can also meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." May all go well. In Jesus's name, I pray.
