Heavenly Father, I lift up this mother's son to You today. Lord, You know the hold that alcohol has on his life, and I ask that You break every chain of addiction and set him free. Give him the desire, strength, and courage to turn away from drinking and to seek You with all his heart. Father, please protect him at work and help him to honor the opportunity You have provided for him. Guard him from making choices that could harm himself or others, and help him to keep the job that provides for his family. I also pray for his mother. Strengthen her faith, encourage her heart, and remind her that nothing is impossible for You. Give her peace as she continues to trust You and intercede for her son. Lord, surround this family with Your love, bring healing and restoration, and lead this young man into lasting freedom and a closer walk with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
