I am praying for you. You can always tells a Christian by their love. It is a old hymn and I have found it true on every occasion. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to come and counsel you. I promise you will hear a still small voice quite-like telling you yes or no or why don't you? I guess I don't understand if you received nothing negative or only negative reports about your Dad. Whichever it is, God's got it! God's love is unconditional and he will never ever let go of your right hand. Trust me, Inver tried God and he is always there, picking me up and dusting me off and giving me just what I need, maybe not exactly what I asked for but what is good for you. He does the same for you. God knew you in your Mother's womb and he marked your name on a scroll and he has designed a path for you to follow to enrich yourself, give you peace, and most of all trust him. I have fallen on the rocks beside the path and he has jerked me back by my right hand. If he did it for me he does it for you. I'm asking for strength and a new found truth that it is time to shake off false pride, or prove yourself a man, and you don't need to show off. People either like you or they don't but God loves you and he will put you with people that will like/love/respect you. Yes, it is survival time. Ask God, believe He is working in your life even when you cannot see it, and Trust in God. He loves you. Blessings.
