Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Aaliyah to you for sustained strength--spiritually, mentally, and emotionally--as she adjusts to campus life. Please uplift her spirits and give her ongoing hope and peace. May she draw closer to you, Father God and Lord Jesus, by deepening her faith through prayers, meditation, and Scripture reading. May she also visit the Christian ministry on campus. They might have Christian organizations that she can consider joining. In the meantime, I pray that Aaliyah will do super well this semester and develop friendships with fellow Christians, who are supportive. For hope, she can meditate on Deuteronomy 31:8, "It is the Lord who goes before you; he will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Another Scripture that might be helpful is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Psalm 32:8 is also beneficial as a reminder to ask you to divinely guide and instruct us as we make decisions. Let all go smoothly. In Jesus's name, I pray.
