Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up PennyB's dear son to you for deliverance from substance abuse. Please touch his heart so he has a strong desire to go to a rehab center for treatment. The Salvation Army might have a rehab facility in their area. Please comfort PennyB during this difficult time. Let her pray without ceasing for your guidance and direction (Psalm 32:8). Please surround her with fellow Christians who are caring and supportive. If she doesn't belong to a Bible-teaching church, let her consider joining one. For hope, PennyB can meditate on Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Take away the taste and desire and replace it with Your divine love. Soothe his grieving heart for the loss of his only brother who committed suicide. Help him, O God, as only You can.
