SDSue, I am praying for you. Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers for our culture to be rescued from neglect. Help us Lord, to remember you in all things, in everything we do, and be an example to the young people who are caught up in inconsequential activities. Help them find their grounding in the Cross, In Jesus, in the Word of God and bless them. Especially bless the street preachers who are going to the homeless, destitute and derelict members of our society that the mainline churches have written off as not cost effective to evangelize because the rate of return for the investment of time is nominal. Jesus said that the poor, the homeless, the elderly, sick and in prison is Christ upon the earth today. Bless those who have undertaken to obey the Lord Jesus and have gone into the neighborhoods and ghettos to bring the Good News to the needy. Bless your holy name, Jesus. Bless your name for mercy, grace and forgiveness of sin, for new life and for your faithfulness to protect them. We thank you with our tears and our gratitude. Amen.
