Lord, we ask that you would hold up your hand of protection over D’s emotions and remove all drug addiction from him with the peace of your presence in his life. We ask D and his mother be comforted by the assurance that you are in control and that you are with them. Amen
SuzeQ, I am praying for this man to be safe and watched over as he begins his journey in recovery and praying for peace and comfort for the family and friends around him.
Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I pray that all will go well for D at the drug treatment facility. Please lead him to you, Lord Jesus, so he can put you first in his life and no longer have a desire for drugs or any other strongholds. Please help D's mother to have hope for her son and give him encouragement. I ask that she prays each day and puts you, Lord Jesus, at the center of her life. May the entire family and loved ones pray together for D and each other. They can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." In Jesus's name, I pray.
