Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up Mwd5cat's brother-in-law to you for healing from alcohol issues. He was taken to the hospital this morning. I pray that the physicians will give him effective treatment for his health problems. May the brother-in-law also be encouraged to go to a rehab facility. The Salvation Army might have one in his area. In the meantime, may the family pray together and draw closer to you, Lord Jesus. Let them put you at the center of their lives. The family can meditate on Hebrews 4:16, which says, "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." In Jesus's name, I pray.
