Momstraight, I am praying for you
Dear Momstraight, I'm sorry for the losses of your dear cousins. Please accept my condolences. Here's my prayer - Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up the extended family of Momstraight who lost two loved ones recently --their deaths were just weeks apart. Please comfort the surviving siblings and the widow during this difficult time. I ask that they be surrounded with supportive friends, family, and neighbors. May they meditate on Psalm 34:18, which says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let the family all pray together to you. May they put you, Lord Jesus, at the center of their lives. They can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." In Jesus's name, I pray.
