I pray, Holy Father, that you will give your child rest in their mind. Focus their thoughts on you, help them meditate on your word so they can find comfort and peace. Completely remove the bitterness that is within them and hold them close, remind them that they can have rest, peace, and comfort in you. Thank you, God, for loving them as they are and having mercy on them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
sarahakr, anytime you feel angry just repeat this scripture over and over….don’t focus on what you need to do. Focus on how amazing the love of Jesus is….how Jesus is merciful and He is slow to anger but ABOUNDING in love. When you focus on how loving Jesus is, you automatialy (without knowing) become more and more like Him. When you focus on how kind patient loving Jesus is….you WANT to be kind to others because you realize how Wonderful He’s been to you….. Psalm 103:8:“The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”
