Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Please uplift the spirits of RuthBarn and her family. I ask that you give them hope and increase their faith in you. May Ruth meditate on Hebrews 11 which focuses on the faith of Biblical figures including Abraham, Sarah, and Moses, among others. Let Ruth reflect on her blessings and think about all the times that you have helped and delivered her and her family. May she surround herself with caring, compassionate Christians and pray with them. I pray that she will put you, Lord Jesus, at the center of her life and not focus on her challenges, but on you. With you, all things are surely possible. Lord Jesus, you are our Savior, Redeemer, Comforter, Great Physician, Healer, Prince of Peace, Deliverer and Friend. Ruth can also meditate on Philippians 4:13, which says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She might benefit from reading the devotional book, "Jesus Calling," by Sarah Young.
