Dear Courtney, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved mother. Please accept my condolences. Here's my prayer for you - Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please bring strength, hope, stability, peace, and deliverance to Courtney's family--her brother, daughter, stepfather, and her. Let the family pray together daily for your divine help. They all surely need you, Lord Jesus, at the center of their lives. May they, in faith, hand over all of their burdens and problems to you. Let them ask you for guidance and direction. You are truly our Lord, Savior, Rock, Healer, Comforter, Deliverer, and Friend. May Courtney search for you with all of her heart, and she'll find you. She can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Another Scripture that might be helpful is Psalm 91:14-16, a psalm about godly security during troubled times. Also, Courtney's brother and stepfather can consider visiting www.211.org to request financial assistance to pay bills. They can also contact the Salvation Army; they might be able to help with rent and utility bills as well as help with spiritual health. May Courtney consider talking to a local pastor at a Bible-teaching church for help. Please surround her with loving, supportive Christians who can comfort her during this difficult time.
