a6s, I am praying for you. Sometimes the Lord provides for our needs, not our wants. He will never leave His righteous forsaken or His seed begging bread. He will provide a way where there seems to be no way, and that way leads to the Cross of Christ. He says, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. This world is a place where we make decisions that determine how we will spend eternity. Did we make choices that pleased our fleshly ambitions or did we make decisions that pleased our Lord? Will we draw close to Jesus or will we be drawn away by the lust of the flesh? Rest in His love, and accept a "No" answer that perhaps for whatever reason, the Lord was protecting you.
