StephanieUSA, I am praying for you Oh Stephanie, How hard it is to leave the past in the past when there are so many reminders of perhaps better days, better times, when you felt loved and cherished. I do not know what prompted your ex to treat you badly, but badly he did. I am praying that the loss you feel is healed, that your self-esteem is restored. I do not know if you will understand, probably not. But our Father tells me to tell you that you do not need to understand. He treated you badly, and you are out of an impossible situation where you alone were the honorable one, you alone were the loving caring person. Leave the past. I know it is hard, but God tells me to tell you to leave the lessons of the past and go forward knowing He has a new path for you to follow. The clothing, the places they are things. His cousins, they just are, and if you want to say hello and reach out, it might be too soon, but you follow your instincts. Your instincts are the Holy Spirit, listen for him. You are in a good place, your life is better already without this person, let God take care of him in his way, and let God take full and loving care of you neverletting your right hand go, you have a new and bright future ahead. God doesn't mind if you say "no" 50 times a day or more. To get rid of him, say "no" Jesus I trust you and I want to move in your light. God's blessings on you, you are worthy. You are enough. You are special. Let the past be. Let it go and let God. Amen
