sab9360, I am praying for you to understand that you are the one who prays for your recovery. Jesus is waiting for you to ask for the craving and obsession to be taken away. I too struggled with alcohol addiction for a good part of 40 years. In one heartfelt prayer, my obsession was lifted and have been free of the evil chain for a year and 2 1/2 mos. Get on your knees and beg for forgiveness and help to destroy the enemy who is destroying you. Life without substance abuse is what the Lord wants for you. Lord, every loving God, help this child of yours rid the evil in their life and bring comfort and joy where once isolation and sadness existed. Lift this person’s spirit to enjoy your love and peace as you see fit. Amen.
Dear Sab9360 from the USA, Lord God, help this person with their addiction. Take away the taste and desire. Cast it into the sea of forgetfulness. Sab, I pray you will get to know God for yourself. You have to stay close to God and His word, for He will fight your battles of addiction. Get on your knees and pray everyday and when you feel the urge, rebuke it, in the name of Jesus. Lord, send people his way to help him walk away from his addictions and never go back. I pray he walks into Your loving arms, for there is safety in Your arms. Keep him in Your divine care. Shower him with Your love, grace, and mercy. I humbly lift up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen
