Dear Father on High, May your abounding grace, tender mercies and unexplained healing enfold your unwary servant as he prepares to undertake this battle for survival. Provide the oncology staff with deep insights into the intricacies of this invasive enemy, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Provide the warrior with the strength, spirit and dignity that only You can bestow. Embrace the family with hope, love and compassion as this arduous battle unfolds. Bring them help from afar to help them in ways they would not have experienced otherwise. And finally, let them ALL share and rejoice in the victorious joy that is Yours to be proclaimed to your children through Christ. Humbly and in the name of Your son, Amen!
