Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please give James sustained hope, comfort, and peace. With you, surely all things are possible. I ask that you uplift his spirits and allow him to think about all of your past blessings. Please lead him to fellow Christians who can be supportive of him. In the meantime, please increase James's faith in you. Let him pray each day and draw closer to you. He can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." I pray that James will put you at the center of his life, develop a personal relationship with you, Lord Jesus, and rely on you for direction (Psalm 32:8). Let all go well for James. In Jesus's name, I pray.
