God of provision, please bless Petrovic79’s relationships with his/her loved ones and bring peace and restoration to the areas that are hurting and need Your healing hand in their relationships. May Your love shine upon Petrovic79 and all loved ones and guide them at all times to forgive one another and be united in Your love and peace. Lord, we Christians know that sometimes it feels like getting angry is the correct response to a situation, whether it’s in our control or not. But we know from Ephesians 4:31 that beyond an initial reaction, anger, bitterness and malice are not of You. Instead, God, fill us with Your Spirit so that we can exhibit the qualities that You desire. Galatians 5:22-23 says that “the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”. We long to be more like You, Lord, and to know the fruits of the Spirit in our daily lives. Instead of anger and bitterness, give us self-control and peace. Help us to approach individual situations with wisdom and calm heads. All this for Your glory, Lord. Amen.
