Your spirit controls everything in your body and faith is the power it needs to help heal your body Reading scriptures on healing causes faith to grow in your spirit and that gives your spirit more power to heal you. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Some times sickness comes from satan and sometimes it comes from our bad habits like (drinking, smoking, overeating, etc.) God gives you instructions in the Bible on what to avoid in your life so you will stay healthy and also instructions on how to heal your sickness when it occurs and bring you back to a healthy state.
