Dear MWBeloved, Have you talked to your pastor about your concerns? Have you asked your pastor for a caring, mature, and loving mentor so that the roles are reversed and you are relying on your mentor for insight and guidance? I pray that you will eventually reap the benefits of serving and ministering to others. Perhaps the congregation members truly love you and care about you, but it's not conspicuous and it's subtle. MW, continue to serve God and Jesus to please them. Pray for wisdom, discretion, and a new godly perspective in how you perceive people. Look for their goodness and qualities. Lower your expectations for bonding with them. When it does happen, it'll be a godly gift. In other words, do good, but don't expect anything in return. As stated in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." May all go well for you. In Jesus's name, I pray.
