Dear Koverman from the United States, I pray God’s healing power over your children. I, too, know how it feels to have your children stuck in the pain of addiction. Lord God, please, lead his children and mine out of this painful situation. Take away the taste and the desire and replace it with them wanting to know more and more about You, Your goodness, and Your amazing unfailing love. Thanking You in advance. Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please divinely intervene to help Koverman's children to overcome addiction. I ask that you give them a strong desire to go to a rehab facility, such as the Salvation Army, for treatment and recovery. Please give them a spiritual awakening so they can see the dangers of addiction and the consequences. Touch their hearts so that they will have a godly perspective and will pray for deliverance. In the meantime, may Koverman and the family pray without ceasing for your divine interventions. Let them draw closer to you and Lord Jesus and put both of you first in their daily lives. They can meditate on Jeremiah 29:12-13, in which you said, Father God, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Koverman might find it helpful to go to the "Focus on the Family" website, focusonthefamily.com, a Christian ministry. They have articles about parenting and addictions that might be insightful. They also have counselors available who might not charge a fee, but this needs to be confirmed first.
