Father, please stay and come to BethLauren. She is walking a terrible path, and fear for her son and for her husband and their health is weighing her down. She needs your help and your answers. I have no answers but you Father do. Show her the way, show her and her husband peace, keep her son in your arms, and show him you love him and there are answers. BethLauren, say to God "Thank you" God loves our gratitude even in the worst of times because he loves us and he wants us to know that he blessed us with more than the stars in the sky and the sands of the seas. I know it sounds strange to say "thank you" but I have found gratitude has been my saving grace. Even when I do not want to, I say thank you. I think Kahil Gibran said "If the only prayer you ever say is "thank you" it is enough. In my deepest brown hole and there have been a few, I have made myself keep a gratitude journal. I will not go to sleep until I write five things I am grateful for that day. It may be a cloud in the sky, the light staying green, the bird I saw in the bush, my checkbook balanced, anything, anything at all. It doesn't have to be flowery, it just has to be something you knew was good. Please try, even if you can only do three at first, thank God for the blessings all around you.
