leckle, I am praying for the lost souls from the disaster in Lahaina and for the banyan tree in the park which is a sacred space in the community. So many perished in fear and agony with their last breath, and we must do whatever we can to comfort and help them if they are stuck in this world and encourage them to enter the light of God's presence. May the banyan tree be healed and flourish once again to comfort both the living and the dead of Lahaina town. Pray for the congregation of Lahaina United Methodist Church who have lost loved ones and also the beautiful sanctuary which was a comfort and blessing for so many through the years, including me. May they all be strengthened to rebuild one day. Also I pray for the first responders who all are encountering death and unimaginable destruction.
