Hollyd1, I am praying for Jacob!!
Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please uplift Jacob's spirits and give him hope about his future. May he and his mother put you and Jesus first in their daily lives. Let them ask for your wisdom and guidance (Psalm 32:8). Please let her son meet caring Christian friends in his age group at a local Bible-teaching church. May he also do volunteer work to help those in need at the Salvation Army or at a food pantry. In the meantime, may the mother and son pray together for your divine interventions. They can start with Hebrews 4:16, which says, "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." In Jesus's name, I pray.
