Dear MrJDH, I pray that Father God and Lord Jesus will increase your faith substantially. It's quite a challenge to manage your own sinfulness. You truly need God and Jesus in the forefront of your life and Jesus's Holy Spirit to help you to conquer sins through their divine powers. Mr. JDH, may you develop an intimate relationship with God and Jesus through prayers, meditations, and Scripture reading. Also, if you have been saved or born again, the Holy Spirit will convict you of your sins and will help you with self-control and so much more. If you haven't been born again or saved, give it some thought. You will need to believe in and have faith in Lord Jesus the Christ and that he died brutally on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day. His precious blood washed away our sins - past, present, and future. In other words, believe in the gospel. To be saved, ask Jesus to become your Lord and Savior. Confess to him that you're a sinner and you need to be forgiven of all of your sins. Submit your heart and life to him. Be willing to repent and become one of Jesus's followers. Once you're saved, Jesus will give you his Holy Spirit who will indwell in you. Gradually, you'll sin less and less because the Holy Spirit, our spiritual counselor, will convict you of your sins, help you with self-control, and help you to produce fruit. Gradually, you will have a strong desire to please Father God and Lord Jesus. The best part about being saved is that we'll spend eternity in heaven with Lord Jesus.
