I am praying for you. I understand what you are going through, we lost my Dad 2 days before valentine's day 6yrs ago and it was & still is very difficult for my Mom & all of us. But each day gets a little easier with a lot of love and prayers!! I will be praying for your Mom and for you.

I'm praying that you will be able to be a comfort to her and that God will give you wisdom how to help her. In the name of jesus, amen. There is Ministry that is called grief share. It may be something that will help your mom if there is one in your area.
