I’m so sorry. I had to make a decision like this in late 2021. It was a difficult decision to make. We had a beloved cat for 18 years that was part of our family. She got real sick and was suffering. The veterinarian urged us to do this and we reluctantly agreed to it. God helped us through it, and he will help you too.
CHRISTAS214, I am praying for you to be comforted in the presence of God and to allow him to to give you the peace and comfort you need. I pray these things in the name of Jesus, amen. I had to do the same thing last year with my precious Sadie. During my grieving time the Lord gave me this beautiful dream of Sadie running down a beach and I saw another dog running toward her and they met on that Beach and knew each other. The dog that greeted was Angel a precious dog that I had put down 12 years earlier. You could just feel the joy as they ran down the beach together to some place I could not see and I know that they are in heaven enjoying the life that only God can give. I know that I will see them both again someday and even though I miss them everyday I look forward with hope to the day I will I run down the beach with them!
