Dear KooterJ, I'm so sorry to hear about this sad family tragedy. I pray that Father God and Lord Jesus will perform a miracle so the son-in-law recovers physically, mentally, and emotionally. May the entire family pray without ceasing for healing, wisdom, direction, and peace. Let the family know that "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Here's my prayer -- Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please help the son to have a spiritual awakening soon. Whatever his complex issues are, please resolve them. I pray that the family will receive love and support from their friends and the Christian community during this difficult time. Please help them to heal from the profound trauma and grant them wisdom, understanding, and peace. In Jesus's name, I pray.
