Consider contacting the Salvation Army so a social worker can help you to find a place. Also, visit the 211.org website, which is sponsored by United Way. They might be able to help you to pay bills. You also can think about whether to apply for subsidized housing for the disabled. Do the research on HUD 811 vouchers or talk to a social worker about this. As for a car, see if the Goodwill in your area has inexpensive cars available.
