Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, Through your grace and mercy, please let all go well for the surgery on Friday for ETHpastorkid's dear mother. I ask that you guide the surgeon and the healthcare team. Let her recovery go smoothly. Please uplift her spirits as well as the family's. I also pray that you will grant spiritual strength, wisdom, patience, peace, and comfort to ETHpastorskid. Please grant him or her a sharper godly perspective on issues or challenges so that he or she thinks about how you and Jesus would look at the matter---most likely with love, patience, compassion, and understanding. In the meantime, ETHpastorskid can meditate on Hebrews 4:16, which says, "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." In Jesus's name, I pray.
