Lord God, I bring Kim before your throne and ask for her to be delivered from the power that food holds over him. I pray that she will win the battle to turn to food and not to you in those hard and difficult times in her life. I know personally that this battle can be won and we can find our greatest pleasure and loving and knowing you. Lord I pray that the proverb that saved me can help her as well, Pr. 23:21 for the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty; and drowsiness shall cloth a man with rags. I pray Lord God that Kim would sow seeds that would bring the richness of Christ into her life so that she will not come to spiritual poverty but she will be filled with the riches and the glory of our awesome God. Help her Lord to turn to you every time that temptation to eat the wrong thing temps her. Help her to be strong through the power of your Holy Spirit. I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer, amen
