Dear Father God and Lord Jesus, I lift up SamiinTexas to you for a spirit of love and forgiveness toward her father. Please help her to change her mindset and think about how you, Lord Jesus, forgave your tormentors when you were dying on the cross. May she also think about the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-31) where the father forgave his son and welcomed him with open arms when he returned home after living an ungodly life. Forgiving, of course, takes time, but I ask that you soften her heart. Let SamiinTexas continue to pray for a transformed heart, strength, courage, and wisdom. In Jesus's name, I pray.
