Rhett, Your words touched something within me too. When someone you thought you knew turns out to be the total opposite, it is is sad and devastating betrayal. All truth shall come to light and when the fakeness it revealed it hurts so much. I prayed for the both of us. Let us both keep fighting for life.

Psalm 13:1-6 ESV / psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. . Lord I pray that Rhett will cry out to the Lord for help in his hour of need. Like David it may feel like his world is falling apart but God is always on his side.
