In life, change is inevitable. Often it can be used for good—like the new faces I gave to these old jars when I decided to upcycle them. But despite the fact that many things do not remain the same, we can confidently hold on to this precious pillar of truth from God’s word: “For I am the Lord, I do not change” (Mal. 3:6, KJV).
God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is sure and steadfast, and our hope in God is the very greatest anchor our soul can grasp onto (see Heb. 6:9).
